21-year-old security man, Abubakar Muhammed, yesterday, was sentenced to seven years imprisonment, by an Ikeja Magistrate Court, Lagos, for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl (names withheld) and stealing N45,000, from the victim's mother.
The security guard, Muhammed pleaded guilty to the crimes and was sentenced to prison.
The incident was said to have occurred in Ikeja, Lagos state. The defendant was charged for defilement and stealing.
In a Similar incident 26-year-old man, Ahmed Hassan, was arraigned before the court, for allegedly raping a 17-year-old girl.
The incident was said to have happened on August 28, at 5pm, at Onikisi Close in Ejigbo area of Lagos State.
The defendant was alleged to have raped his victim with his manhood and sachet water nylon.
He pleaded not guilty to the charges and the magistrate granted him bail in the sum of N50,000, with two sureties in like sum.
The magistrate adjourned the case till October 24 for hearing.
