32-YEAR-OLD MAN INFECTS 16-YEAR-OLD GIRLFRIEND WITH HIV,TELLS HER TO SPREAD THE DISEASE

A 32-year-old man who is HIV positive, infected his teenage girlfriend with the disease after keeping his diagnosis a secret then urged her to 'sleep around' in order to spread the illness

According to court reports, the man hid his status from four sexual partners and passed it on to two of them including the 16-year old girl.

He also told the girl that they should sleep with other people so they would not be alone in having HIV.

She wept as she told the hearing how he 'believed he should spread the virus as he hadn't done anything wrong to get it'.

The young girl also told jurors that a few months into the relationship, he suggested they try for a baby - and although she was 'surprised' and thought she was 'too young', she agreed because she was in love
with him.

They moved in together and after she became pregnant, the man became 'violent and aggressive', and after she gave birth to a son.

When the child was a year old, the man started showing symptoms and they went to the hospital for test where the young girl discovered she was HIV positive, although, luckily enough, the boy's result turns out to be negative.
