Nigeria Police Force has published the information on recent arrests of vicious rapists across the country.
In the first case, a 25-year-old man, identified as Adeshina Bello, residing No. 21 Oke Ebute Street Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State, has been arrested and detained in Police custody for defilement.
It has been reported that on September 4, 2013, at about 2.55 p.m. the suspect allegedly deceived a 10-year-old girl, whose name is not disclosed. The victim, who was playing with her friends, was taken to the bush by the suspect, where had carnal knowledge of her.
The victim was later discovered at the scene with blood stains and was taken to a local hospital for medical attention. State CID Abeokuta is carrying out investigation.
In a separate incident, a 16-year-old teen, whose name is not disclosed, residing GRA Ado-Ekiti, Ekiti State, has been arrested and detained in Police custody for defilement.
The police said on September 4, 2013, at about 12.00 p.m. the juvenile offender lured a 9-year-old girl (name withheld) into the bathroom where he raped her. The victim has been hospitalized later. The case is being investigated by the State CID Ado-Ekiti.
