WICKEDNESS:CYCLISTS STAB MAN OVER N200

Some group of motorcyclists Sunday night stabbed a 26-year-old man at Sokale area of Dutse in Bwari area council over N200.

The victim was said to have boarded a motorcycle from Kubwa around 11pm to his house at Sokale in Dutse, at the cost of N200. He was said to have informed the cyclist that he had N1,000 with him and the cyclist allegedly agreed with him.

It was however learnt that when they got to the destination, the victim gave him the N1,000, but he refused to give him the balance of N800, claiming that he had no change.

According to a witness, as he was still arguing with the cyclist over the issue, another cyclist arrived the scene, and together, they pounced on him and stabbed him on the head with a knife.

The victim then escaped from the scene and was later rushed to the Kubwa General hospital for medical attention, a witness said.

When journalist visited the hospital, the head, Accident and Emergency Unit, Paul Olise, said the victim was brought into the hospital at about 4.35 am by a relation.

He said the victim sustained deep laceration on the forehead as well as cuts on some parts of his body, but is responding to treatment.

Police in the area said the case was not reported to them.
